Rhino are build to last a life time.
Rhino has an ultramatic transmission. What is that? It is two centrifugal clutches that maintain constant belt tension for greater throttle response.
How often do you have to change the drive belt? That all depends on how the Rhino will be used.
If you watch some of the video, you will see how tough the Rhino can be.
The Rhino offers you a two wheel drive for just riding on good trails or back roads.
Then when you get to the end of the road or good trail you can put it in four wheel drive, knowing full well you will make it home.
Many hunters that use the Rhino to haul in their camping gear and haul out their game. They know that the Rhino has a full lock four wheel drive to make retrieving their game easy.
Repairs on a Rhino will include cleaning the air filter and changing your oil every 500 miles. We have only changed two belts on the Rhino.
One was because the person used it to cross a river and got water on the clutch and slipped the belt. The other Rhino had an oil leak on one of the clutch seals, which was covered under
Yamaha warranty.
We look at the Rhino like the maytag repairman looks at their washing machine. No repairs, just a few adjustments.
We do not recommend you do this with your Rhino, but watch the video and enjoy.
